New Feature - Email This Company Button

by James Reynolds  on 12. December 2010 21:27

A new feature has been added to your company profile. Now on your profile is a button called ‘Email This Company’. This button allows viewers/customers (potential customers) to contact you directly via email. When this button is clicked, a form will display requesting the customers first and last name, email, phone, and comments. The customer’s message will be sent to you for you to follow up with the customer.

Take a look at this company profile as an example. You’ll see the big, red, hard-to-miss email button:

The purpose of this new button and feature is to make it very easy for customers to contact the company. This button also allows for you, the company owner, to communicate with potential customers.

Please let me know what you think of this new feature. And if you have additional ideas of new features you’d like to see on, please tell me. I strive to continually build on to to make it better and better for you, the local business owner. The goal of (my goal as well) is to help promote local businesses and local shopping. I’m always seeking new ideas so please let me know your ideas/requests of new features.

Springfield's Small Business Saturday

by James Reynolds  on 27. November 2010 00:38

There's Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This year there is Small Business Saturday. Small Business Saturday is all about shopping and supporting the local businesses in your community. American Express will give a $25 credit to the first 100,000 cardholder members that register and spend at least $25 at a local business on Saturday, November 27th. See more on the facebook page here and check out the Small Business Saturday website.

We can support our local economy and shop local at locally-owned gift shops, antique malls, boutiques, hobby shops, toy stores, local clothing stores, restaurants, etc. Let's have our own Springfield, MO Small Business Saturday. Another thing we can do is to share the website with local business owners. It's free for business owners to publish deals and promotions. Spread the word. Let's build and support our local economy in Springfield, MO and the surrounding 417 area.

Post your comments here.
